Plugged Labs Limited Warranty
To register you warranty, please email the serial number found on the warranty card inside the packaging of your new Plugged product to [email protected] Warranty is only valid with successful registration.
This limited warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end purchaser. An original or copy of a sales receipt from the original Plugged Authorized Retailer is required for warranty service. This limited warranty does not cover products purchased through online auction websites. Online sales auction confirmations are NOT accepted for warranty verification.
Plugged Labs ("Plugged") warrants that this product (the "Product") will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of one year from the original purchase date ("Limited Warranty Period").The following conditions are NOT covered by this limited warranty:
- Normal wear and tear of Product use
- Misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse or other abnormal use
- Use of the Product other than for its intended purpose
- Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance
- Product that has been modified or altered
- Any product that is not manufactured by Plugged (including, without limitation, any non-Plugged product that is used in connection with the Product)
Plugged products are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase from an authorized Plugged dealer.* If a defect exists, Plugged at its option will either (1) repair the product at no charge using the new or reconditioned parts, (2) exchange the product with a functional equivalent product that is new or reconditioned, or (3) refund the original purchase price. We do not cover normal wear and tear, blown speakers, cut cords, bent audio jacks, scratches, stains, loss, or theft. This warranty excludes damages that come as a result of abuse, accident, modifications, or other causes that are not defects in the materials or workmanship of the product. Modification or customization of your Plugged product will void this warranty.
No other party is authorized to modify this limited warranty. Your dealer is responsible for any additional warranties.
This Warranty gives your specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state and jurisdiction. These rights shall not be affected by this limited warranty. This warranty cannot be transferred or assigned.
Proof of purchase is required to verify eligibility.
For residents of the EU, this warranty is valid for a period of two years from the date of original purchase from an authorized dealer. For residents of Sweden, this warranty is valid for a period of three years from the date of original purchase from an authorized dealer.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Warranty claims can be made directly to Plugged by contacting Plugged Customer Service at [email protected] Proof of purchase is required to verify eligibility of your claim.
Once Plugged receives your returned Product, Plugged will evaluate your claim (typically within 7-10 business days) to determine whether the returned Product does not conform to this limited warranty. If Plugged determines that there is no trouble found with your returned Product or the returned Product is not eligible for warranty service, Plugged will ship the Product back to you, at Plugged's expense. If Plugged determines that there is a warranted defect in the Product, Plugged will, at its option, remedy the defect as set forth below in this limited warranty. Plugged is not liable for Products that are damaged or lost in transit to Plugged. We recommend that you ship your returned products to Plugged via a shipment method that offers tracking. You are responsible for customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties and brokerage. All products returned to Plugged will be subject to review for authenticity. Products determined to be counterfeit will be confiscated and turned over to Plugged's legal department for action. Counterfeit cases will not be returned and consumers should seek restitution from their original place of purchase.
Sole and Exclusive Remedy
Your sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of this limited warranty, and Plugged's sole and entire liability is, at Plugged's option, to repair or replace the defective Product or refund the purchase price of the defective Product within 30 days. Repair or replacement (including parts and labor and shipping costs) shall be made at Plugged's expense. Plugged reserves the right to send you a replacement product that is the same or of a similar style or a substitute equivalent that may not be of like kind (depending on availability). Replacement products will be furnished only on an exchange basis. Replacement products are warranted as above for the remainder of the original applicable Product warranty period.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, PLUGGED MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF SUCH DISCLAIMER OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DURATION OF ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES IS LIMITED TO THE DURATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, SO SUCH LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM
JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL PLUGGED OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF VALUE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR WITH THE PRODUCT, OR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR WITH THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF PLUGGED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. PLUGGED HAS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION TO CONSUMER ELECTRONICS DEVICES OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT ARE IN THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LAPTOPS, CELL PHONES, MP3 PLAYERS, DVD PLAYERS OR HANDHELD DEVICES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA CONTAINED IN THE FOREGOING DEVICES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY DAMAGES THAT YOU MIGHT INCUR FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL DAMAGES REFERENCED HEREIN AND ALL DIRECT OR GENERAL DAMAGES IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE), THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF PLUGGED AND ANY OF ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. SOME STATES AND/OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
The following covers the return of non-defective product purchased from Plugged's website. Non-defective is defined as any product that does not fall under either: 1. Product that is defective. For defective product, please see our limited warranty. 2. Product purchased from an authorized reseller. Non-defective product must be returned to the original point of purchase. If you purchased a product from Plugged through our website, PluggedInc.com, you may return the product if you are dissatisfied for any reason, and Plugged will refund the amount paid for the returned product minus any expedited or international shipping fees.
Product must be returned within thirty (30) days from the date of the original order for a refund.
Shipping back to Plugged must be paid by purchaser and will not be refunded by Plugged.
To expedite your refund, we recommend that you contact customer service to receive an RMA number. Also, please include your original packing slip if still available. Once Plugged receives your return, we will process your refund and email you a credit memo confirmation. Upon receipt of the credit memo confirmation email, please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for the funds to be posted back to the credit card used for the purchase.
Plugged is not liable for products that are damaged or lost in transit to Plugged. We recommend that you ship your returned products to Plugged via a trackable shipment method. Customers outside the United States are responsible for paying customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties and brokerage. Promptly following Plugged's receipt of your returned product (typically within 7 to 10 business days), Plugged will credit the amount paid for the returned product (less any shipping costs/expenses related to the original purchase, which are non-refundable) to the credit card you used to make the original purchase. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Plugged does not control when a specific credit card company processes a chargeback transaction. You are responsible for contacting your credit card company if you have questions about the status of the chargeback. Plugged will not provide a refund for a non-defective product that is received by Plugged more than thirty (30) days after the date of original purchase. Plugged also does not provide a refund for returned product that are damaged due to misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse or other abnormal use. This non-defective product refund policy applies to the direct end user purchaser. It does not apply to dealers, distributors or any other third parties in a distribution chain who purchased product for resale or cover products purchased through online auction website or channels other than Plugged's website.
